Dr. Persaud is the Canada Research Chair in Health Justice and Professor at the University of Toronto. He chaired the National Pharmacare Committee of Experts in 2025. He is the Director of the MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at St Michael's Hospital where he is a family physician.
